Welcome to Kelowna British Columbia's finest in dining and recreation pleasure!

A Brief History

The Hotel Eldorado is modelled after the Eldorado Arms Inn built in 1926 for countess Bubna Littite of Austria. The original hotel located 5 kms south of the current location attracted many guests from all over North America and Europe. In 1989 Jim Nixon purchased the Eldorado and floated it up Lake Okanagan to its current site. Restoration work on the hotel was interrupted when fire destroyed the old building. Undaunted by the charred remains, Jim proceeded to completely rebuild the Eldorado, meticulously retaining the same old-world quality and ambience of the original building. Less than a year later on St. Patricks Day 1990, the new Hotel Eldorado opened its doors. The Hotel Eldorado is entirely unique with hardwood floors, fireplace, antique furnishings and a great collection of Okanagan memorabilia. A sense of camaraderie and intimacy greet all who enter its doors.

Situated in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, Hotel Eldorado and its affiliated establishments in Kelowna, B.C. offer a variety of entertainment options.
