THE FIRM  Rutherford Bazett is located in Kelowna, British Columbia, and presently has seven partners and thirty professional, technical and administrative staff. We are associated with Coopers & Lybrand, an international firm of Chartered Accountants. We provide a diverse range of professional services to our clients on a personalized and timely basis and are committed to maintaining ongoing professional education to meet the continuing changes in accounting and auditing standards, microcomputer technology, tax law and business methods. SERVICES AUDIT There are three audit partners, two managers, two audit seniors and three articling chartered accountant students. Continuity of staff and timely delivery of audit services has been the key to the firm's success in this area. NON-AUDIT AND PROFESSIONAL ADVISORY SERVICES Four partners and a number of competent professional staff, that have been with the firm for more than ten years, provide quality service in this area of practice. COMPUTER CONSULTING AND TRAINING Rutherford Bazett has had a full-time Microcomputer Services Department for over ten years. The staff have extensive experience in computer systems installation and are fully qualified for a variety of accounting software systems, including ACCPAC and Real World, as well as the family of Microsoft ® and Novell ® products. TAX SERVICES There are two income tax partners, one G.S.T. partner, and one full time tax researcher that provide highly skilled tax planning and tax compliance services for individuals and corporate entities and their groups. VALUE -FOR-MONEY AUDITING We are a member of the Canadian Comprehensive Auditing Foundation and perform Value-for-Money audits on a regular basis, primarily for clients in the government sector. BUSINESS VALUATIONS We are a member of the Canadian Litigation and Valuation Institute and can provide business valuation services for a variety of reasons.
